Brighter Buying

#29 Brisbane hot spots set to sizzle in 2019

by Kate Watt, Marketing Manager 8 January 2019

Brisbane is set to see stronger growth in 2019 than it has over the past year and certain sought-after suburbs are tipped to rise even higher than others.

The Price Predictor Index by Hotspotting’s Terry Ryder highlights 29 suburbs in Brisbane which have seen increases in sales demand, highlighting potential future growth spurts, reports news.com.au.

The national list includes 29 Brisbane suburbs and three of those are here on the north side, including Geebung, Gordon Park and Stafford Heights.

An improving Queensland economy, infrastructure investment and population growth are all adding up to put Brisbane into positive growth territory.

This is in stark contrast to the southern capitals of Sydney and Melbourne which are seeing price slides, unable to sustain the superheated gains of recent years.

If you’re thinking of buying it’s good to understand where sales activity is picking up so you can get in ahead of a price hike, and for home owners already in sought-after suburbs, well, you can sit back and let your house do some wealth building for you this year.
