Market update: #11 suburbs to watch in 2024

by Richard Parker, Sales Manager 31 January 2024

Continued strong demand and tight supply are tipped to propel Brisbane property prices higher in 2024.

Add strong jobs growth and an easing interest rate environment, and buyer confidence could be improving in leaps and bounds.

“Elevated demand, coupled with a smaller inventory, leads to increased competition among buyers. While these conditions persist, prices are expected to rise, although not uniformly across all of Greater Brisbane,” writes Australian Property Investor magazine.

So where is the smart money looking to land in 2024?

Suburbs which offer affordability, amenity and infrastructure are earmarked for a buoyant new year.

“Several suburbs are catching the attention of professionals nationwide, with property experts identifying suburbs such as Keperra for its investment potential, affordability, and infrastructure; Brighton for its strategic location and affordability; and Bulimba for its amenities, family appeal, and prime location,” the magazine says.

On the northside, the affordability of suburbs like Petrie, Morayfield, Brighton and Keperra make them attractive to investors and home owners alike. Plus you’ll enjoy the benefit of easy rail access, proximity to shops, schools, parklands and family friendly spaces.
