#20 Best Brissie burbs for families

by Kate Watt, Marketing Manager 12 October 2022

What makes a liveable suburb? Frankly, Brissie is full of them. But liveability will be in the eye of the beholder.

And if the beholder is a family, there tends to be some common threads.

Proximity to good schools and childcare is a key consideration. Access to parks and other recreation facilities is also important. Needless to say, a low crime rate is on the family suburb wish list.

So the good folks at Property Tribune have done some analysis and compiled their list of the top #20 most liveable Brisbane suburbs for families.

The suburbs include price ranges to suit different budgets. Here on the northside, the suburb of Deagon gets a shout out as a “hidden gem” for its affordability compared to its pricier coastal neighbours. Speaking which – Sandgate also makes the list for its hard-to-beat bayside lifestyle.

Closer to the city, Alderley, Wilston and Grange give a good option for families with a little more purchasing power.

While middle ring classic Keperra is popular for its amenity, rail access and affordable entry level prices.
