Think 2024 may be the year to pursue your property fortunes?

Well now is the time to be scanning the property news pages for tips and hints on boom suburbs for the year ahead.

We’ve been doing our own skimming and have found a couple of articles you might find interesting.

Canstar has published a comprehensive assessment of the Brisbane property market by hotspotting.com.au founder Terry Ryder.

Realestate.com.au has also weighed in with tips for the year ahead.

If you don’t have the time or mojo to get lost in analysis paralysis, here are some headline suburbs in which you could start your research.

  • Aspley – Dubbed a rising market by hotspotting.com.au we know Aspley has a lot to offer: family friendly houses and block sizes, a range of price points and great access to transport, schools, shops and a thriving mini CBD at its heart.
  • Boondall – A high amenity suburb within easy reach of the bay and wetlands reserve, while also offering commuter convenience with proximity to train and major road links.
  • Mitchelton – The New Farm of middle ring north Brissie, this suburb has a lively café set on Blackwood Street plus the large shopping centre convenience of Brookside without the Westfield size parking hassles.
  • Albion – Just a short bus or train ride to the city, Albion and its restaurants and cafés offer an urban lifestyle with hints of suburban space and greenery.
  • Clontarf – Offering bayside beaches and views this Redcliffe Peninsula suburb became a whole lot more appealing when the rail line extension arrived. It remains a hot spot for families and retirees.
  • Hamilton – Benefiting from the massive Hamilton Northshore development ahead of the Olympics, this riverfront suburb is in for a transformational few years ahead.
