Booming Brissie hot spots soar 20% in one year

by Karleen Jentz, Copywriter 17 August 2016

While average Brisbane median house prices are taking a slow yet steady approach to growth, some suburbs are streaking ahead.

Booming suburbs north and south of the river have seen double-digit annual house price growth over the past year, with one north side suburb topping more than 20 per cent.

Houses are clearly beating units in the growth stakes. While some suburbs are recording decent growth in unit prices, others are starting to see unit price declines.
