Brighter Buying

Chermside West and Eatons Hills gaining pace

by Kate Watt, Marketing Manager 18 November 2021

North Brisbane burbs are seeing some of the fastest sales on the market as buyers scramble to keep up with continued high demand.

Houses in Chermside West and Eatons Hill are getting snapped up in around a week, according to new data published by the Daily Mail.

PropTrack data has also revealed a national pace race with Hobart leading the nation for speed sales, while Brissie suburbs claim around third on the list, reports Sky News.

It’s not the first time our middle ring northern ‘burbs have become the centre of home buyer attention. And we think the attention will continue.

Chermside West offers great value for home buyers seeking a suburb that’s still priced in the $600,000s. The rejuvenated Rode Centre shops, cafes and restaurants continue to come of age and the growing hipster haven of Stafford is just next door.

Further out, family buyers are snapping up great value in Eatons Hill. The local area is packed with sport and leisure facilities as well as the awarded Eatons Hill Tavern which punches above its weight for attracting great bands and artists. Sure, it’s not got the pulling power of a major inner city venue but it’s certainly got more star appeal than the local RSL circuit.

Add to the mix schools, retail and commercial hubs in the connecting corridors of Albany Creek and Aspley and it’s no surprise that well priced homes in these burbs are selling like hot cakes.
