Is Logan Brisbane’s new luxury home hotspot?

by Kate Watt, Marketing Manager 1 June 2016

Is Logan finally ready to shed its bogan bourgeois status? Well according to a recent report that might well be the case.

Never before have phrases like “high-end” and “prestige lifestyle” featured in an article about Logan but Domain reports that an emerging upper class property market has buyers shelling out anywhere from $700,000 to $1.5 million for their slice of Logan luxury.

The high-end market is centred around what some might consider to be Logan’s defining feature – the highway. Buyers are drawn to modern houses on the eastern side and larger acreage estates on the west.

Other buyers might be drawn to the highway itself in search of an escape route to the Gold Coast or north to the city. Oops – did we say that out loud?

Ah Logan, we jest. You do have some lovely homes.

But for those high end buyers who do have a generous budget don’t buy south until you’ve checked out north of the river.

Up here your cash could get you a character home in sought after inner suburbs like Wilston or Windsor or a sprawling family mansion in an established suburb like Bridgeman Downs or Aspley close to schools, shops and transport hubs.
