Legendary Brisbane Lion roars with delight at sale of $2.57 million family home

by Kate Watt, Marketing Manager 26 May 2017

Legendary Lion Michael Voss could do no wrong on the footy field and it seems he has the golden touch when it comes to property too.

The Brownlow medallist and triple premiership captain has sold his home in Marriott Street, Coorparoo for $2,575,000 reports Domain.

Accustomed to topping the points table, it’s not surprising this was the most expensive property sold in Brisbane the week it settled.

So what do you get for your two-and-a-half mill?

  • A 1,303 square metre corner block
  • A U-shape layout wrapping around a private courtyard pool
  • City views
  • Wood fireplace
  • High ceilings
  • A mega parent’s retreat with lounge and bar

What more could a Lion want for his pride?

Perhaps the only downside to this sale is that it means one of Brisbane’s favourite sports stars no longer calls our city home.

He has made the permanent move to South Australia with his family after joining Port Adelaide Football club as a coach.

Sad news for Brisbane, good news for the buyer of his luxury home.
