With Easter just around the corner we’re finding it hard not to think of chocolate. So we’ve decided to take you on a virtual stroll through Brisbane’s sweetest streets.

Do you know there is an Easter Street here on Brissie’s northside? It’s in Brighton, which, by the way, is a great bayside suburb for locals to visit over the Easter long weekend.

And now, feast your eyes on Brissie’s sweetest street names.

  1. Bunny Street, Everton Park – too cute
  2. Lamington Street, New Farm – a sweet name, and home to a sweet venue, the Powerhouse
  3. Sugarloaf Street, Wavell Heights – not just a cabbage but the original form of refined sugar
  4. Strawberry Street, Caboolture – not far from those delicious strawberry fields
  5. Dairy Cream Drive, Draper – this street still drips with hints of its dairy farming past
  6. Kia-ora Street, Virginia – this street name is sweet as bro
  7. Rose Street, Wooloowin – would it smell as sweet by any other name?
  8. Martini Court, Morayfield – not shaken, not stirred, but made with sweet vermouth
  9. Sinnamon Park – ok so it’s a suburb, not a street, and yes, we know how to spell cinnamon
  10. Easter Street, Brighton – a great suburb in which to spend your Easter long weekend
